I am expecting baby number 3 early next year and we are not finding out the gender so I need suggestions of boys and girls names.

Baby number 3 will be sibling to Sloane (girl) and Miller (boy).

Names we like (but are set on) so you can get our vibe-

Boys

  • Archer
  • Henley
  • Cash
  • Lennox

Girls

  • Elara
  • Delaney
  • Lennie
  • Gia

I think Sloane and Cash would not be a great combination, if you are in the U.K.

Henley is a girl name isn’t it rather than a boy?
I know both boys and girls called Henley.

Moreteaandchocolate · 21/10/2024 22:09

I love your name ideas - it would be boring if everyone had the same few names or if name tastes didn’t vary between people and generations.

From your lists - I really like Archer or Lennox for a boy, or Elara or Gia for a girl. Delaney is lovely too and I love the nn Lane / Laney.

I know of 4 kids called cash, it's quite popular now.
One has a brother called ace.

One has a brother called ace.

Is his sister called 'Ventura'?

Sidebeforeself · 21/10/2024 22:00

But your ‘vibe’ is one of corporate sounding names! People are just pointing that out.

A lovely unusual mix of choices!
Could you explain what appealed to you about your other children's names? An understanding of your inspiration might help us to select one which fits in best. Thanks.

She has already said earlier on the meaning behind the names.

ODFOx · 21/10/2024 21:59

Further, are you in the UK?

All the additional
Info helps. Thanks

I like Cash and Henley and Elara and Delaney

BiggerBoat1 · 21/10/2024 21:57

Tooting-Becca?

Fridgedooropen · 21/10/2024 21:51

Reese (for either)

I think the opposite of pp. Now you've gone the surname direction, it would seem odd to call the last one Betty or Billy.

MarvellousMonsters · 21/10/2024 21:44

@mathanxiety
' For "saddle your child with a name that they'll/you'll regret," I think you meant to say, "give your child a name I don't approve of". '

A name I don't approve of? No, a set of names that will make people laugh, either openly or behind their backs. Why would anyone knowing give their child a name that could make them a target for mockery??

Lemonadeand · 21/10/2024 21:41

StillAtTheRestaurant · 21/10/2024 20:26

I would probably go for something that didn't make them sound like a firm of solicitors, so that's all your boys' names and half your girls names out.

I did also think this. Better to go for something like Sloane, Miller and Bethany or Sloane, Miller and Julia. Not another name that could be a surname.

Nikitaspearlearring · 21/10/2024 21:37

So you've had suggested Harlow, Sutton and Camden?

I love this thread.

CandiedPrincess · 21/10/2024 21:36

AngelinaFibres · 21/10/2024 21:32

Now they're sounding like estate agents.

Who cares
