Joanna/Johanna and Bronwyn are pretty common names where I live so don't seem unusual to me.

Unusual, of less common to me that I've liked are

Laoghaire
Merron
Margot
Lauryn with a y
Andrea

And I do like Joanna

I meet a lot of people through work with virtue names. My favourites so far have been Innocent, Honest, and Lucky!

He was a man but I'm sure it could be used for a girl.

I have a friend who's daughter is a Kezia. She dreamed the name and then went to the library to check it was a name (pre internet)

Dickon is an old Yorkshire name. It appears in the secret garden.

In the 70s there was a BBC childrens serial about a gypsy girl who lived with her grandmother. Kizzy - her nickname, Kesia her given name

I used to work with a Diccon. It's not really a usable name these days (he would be retired by now), but I rather liked it.

Most unusual girls name I've come across is Petal. I'm less keen on that.
