What were you nearly called?

I was nearly called Deborah or Scarlett.

They were in my parents top three names.

Then they finally chose my name.

I feel a bit of a connection to those other two names.

My parents changed my name when I was 2. I was called Ann. I am now not!

Dierdre. Thankfully my father made my mother see sense. (He wanted to call me Stephanie, which I actually would have loved, by my mother vetoed it...)

Christina ? I'm not sure how I feel about it I would have definitely been my dad's name if I was a boy.

Carly. Or Melissa. I wish they went with Carly, it was decidedly less common than my actual name. I went to school with like 5 other my names.

Funnily enough, I unintentionally did that to DD1. Her name is common & everywhere.

If I was a boy I would have been Keith. Bloody awful name!! I think
My name was set in stone as I was named after a great aunt.

My girls could have been Charlotte, Constance and Avery. None of these names suit them now lol
