I love Calvin, Bradley is very dated

Fontainebleau007 · 27/06/2024 18:52

Calvin is better than Bradley

JawJaw · 27/06/2024 14:29

Very dated and American low rent. Both

Jessieshome · 27/06/2024 14:25

I once had a boyfriend called Bradley (he was born in the 80's) he was from a fairly wealthy family, he was also pretty emotionally abusive, just seeing the name makes my blood boil, awful person!

So I'd pick Calvin, Cal is actually ok, but not a big fan of Calvin.

SemperIdem · 27/06/2024 00:04

Are these truly your final two names?

StrawPony · 26/06/2024 20:50

Agree with that Bradley has negative vibes. Calvin isn’t as bad.

AngelDelightButNotStrawberry · 26/06/2024 18:09

I mean, Calvin if I had to choose.

ginasevern · 26/06/2024 15:24

Bradley is very 90's and pretty low rent. Calvin is better but only because Bradley is so bad. Basically with all the lovely, unusual and classical names in the world why choose these?

Bobbybobbins · 26/06/2024 15:17

Not hugely keen on either but prefer Calvin- Cal is a nice nickname.

QuickMaff · 26/06/2024 15:13

I like both! Calvin is really nice.

Queenofwistfulthinking · 26/06/2024 15:12

Neither

Youdontevengohere · 26/06/2024 15:12

Another one who prefers the nickname Cal to Brad so I’d go with Calvin.

EveryOtherNameTaken · 26/06/2024 15:11

Neither. Sorry.

MartyFunkhouser · 26/06/2024 15:09

Both dreadful.

RoobarbAndMustard · 26/06/2024 15:08

Not my taste, too American.

GreenMarigold · 26/06/2024 15:03

I prefer Bradley to Calvin but wouldn’t use either myself.

TomatoSandwiches · 26/06/2024 15:01

Neither tbh sorry.

Any others?

KirstenBlest · 26/06/2024 15:00

Nothing wrong with them but they sound like the names of 60 year olds.

Moveoverdarlin · 26/06/2024 14:52

I went to school in the 90s and every scallywag was called Bradley. I put it in the same category as Kev, Gary, Scott, Robbie.

Calvin just makes me think of the pants. I really don’t like either.

Blouson · 26/06/2024 14:50

Kelvin

shoopshoopdedoo · 26/06/2024 14:49

I don’t love either, but prefer Calvin

YourMommaWasASnowblower · 26/06/2024 14:43

Definitely Calvin. It’s got a slicker sound, Brad to me is a 90s surfer dude.

Penguinsmum · 26/06/2024 14:41

Definitely Calvin

MissingMoominMamma · 26/06/2024 14:28

Do you have any others?

hs2000 · 26/06/2024 14:23

Bradley was of the era when I was choosing for my son born in 1997.
I'm glad I didn't use it because it declined rapidly from then and sounds very old fashioned now.
I don't know a Calvin and immediately thought of boxer shorts.
Sorry to be negative op but I don't like either.
