Baby boy born on Saturday and still doesn’t have a name! Names we do like but can’t use, for various reasons, are Jude, Leo and Joey. Want something similar but a little less popular - any suggestions?

He will be little brother to Bonnie and Thea if that helps…

Ahh he's lovely.

What about Rory

Mostlycarbon · 12/06/2024 14:04

Gorgeous boy and lots of lovely suggestions. We are coming across a lot of boys called Arlo, Finn, Rupert and Raffy at baby groups round here. So if that bothers you (it might not) I would say go for something else.

He’s gorgeous. Congratulations!

Asher or Jesse!
Or Moses, I can see a rod in that lifted arm 😂

M4driver · 12/06/2024 13:04

Kit can be short for Christopher/Christian. Or how about Pip (for Philip)?

You seem to like names ending -o, so what about:
Inigo
Cosmo
Orlando
Bruno
Rocco
Alessandro

Owen is what came to mind when you mentioned your other dc’s names

millymae · 12/06/2024 13:02

He's gorgeous! I'm team Rory. Rory Hooton sound perfect to me. Bonnie, Thea and Rory.
Plus when he gets to writing his name 4 letters is more than enough.

WaitingForMojo · 12/06/2024 13:02

My dh wanted Kit!

WaitingForMojo · 12/06/2024 13:01

I was going to suggest Rowan because you have similar taste in names to me, but just seen that it can’t end in n.

Milo
Sebastian / Seb
Finlay (Finn)
Louis
Laurence (Laurie)
Frederick / Freddie
Arlo

He is gorgeous.

Definitely agree with Jonah.

Other names that go with your gorgeous girl names: Rafe, Caleb, Luca, Milo.

OMG he's flipping beautiful 😍

Sleepnplay · 12/06/2024 12:48

Congratulations, he's beautiful.

Rory would be my pick I think. I find it fairly soft, but still substantial. Or Jesse, for same reasons.

Jonas
