Does it give any specific impressions? I would appreciate your opinions.

It's a common enough girls name in Scotland

whatthematters · 22/05/2024 21:31

Morgan Fairchild. She’s female

LuluBlakey1 · 22/05/2024 21:30

I think it's horribly dated for a girl- very 1980s Dynasty tv series glm.

Areolaborealis · 22/05/2024 21:29

Morg for short which is a bit close to 'morgue' for me.

Footzok · 22/05/2024 21:28

Chav

TheCryingTheBitchAndTheFloordrobe · 22/05/2024 21:27

American from the 1970s/80s

FloofyBear · 22/05/2024 21:14

Morgan le fey - I used to want that name for my girl baby name but it was quite a bit more common so changed my mind,

MaltipooMama · 22/05/2024 21:10

I think it's a nice name, no problem at all with it but it does remind me of the clothing brand from the 90s/00s. Particularly my favourite clear plastic tote bag with "Morgan" splashed all over it! Ah the good old days 🤣

I like it, I've not heard it for a girl in years but it is a nice name.

Scrumbleton · 22/05/2024 21:03

It's quite American but pretty cool too- makes me think of Morgan Fairchild 80s blonde bombshell

17caterpillars1mouse · 22/05/2024 21:00

I love it as a boys name but on a girl I think 'late 90s early 00s dated'

Fourfurrymonsters · 22/05/2024 20:57

My (Scottish) Morgan is almost 24 now and I named her after the lead character in my favourite book on the Arthurian legend, but also because we lived right by the sea and in Celtic it means exactly that…by the sea, or sea-born. I still think it’s a beautiful name (and she was 1 of 2 female Morgan’s in her school year).

Wolfpa · 22/05/2024 20:51

I always think of German. It means morning and tomorrow.

Upallnight2 · 22/05/2024 20:49

I like it!

Xyz1234567 · 22/05/2024 20:31

It brings to mind Celts/Wales/King Arthur and I've always thought of it as a male or female name. I like it, no idea why it's chavvy - but I live in Scotland, so super rare although I know one and he's lovely!

Jakethekid · 22/05/2024 20:28

Morgan makes me think of am american mean girl thats popular and bitchy. Sorry if that offended anyone

mintich · 22/05/2024 20:26

Reminds me of the good girl from Laguna Beach!

Littlemissnikib · 22/05/2024 20:24

My best friend’s daughter is called Morgan (now in her 20s). I think it’s a lovely name - and she’s such a lovely girl!

PrincessHoneysuckle · 22/05/2024 20:23

1996

6448fin · 22/05/2024 20:17

I have a daughter called Morgan, trying not to take too much offence to the comments!

She really suits her name, is a gorgeous friendly girl and her friends all call her Morgy or Morgs. She’s 11.

Sunnnybunny72 · 22/05/2024 20:16

Chavvy. Sorry.

Not if you're in Wales and naming a boy. Don't be a snob.

It's still a lower class name here in Wales. To me it's a naughty boy's name.

Sprinkles211 · 22/05/2024 20:07

My brothers called Morgan never met another one he's 30 now
