Middle name to go with Ava...

Ava is definite first name if it's a girl, and surname is a common one-syllable name (think Clark, Green, Jones type names). I wanted a middle name linked to someone on my side of the family (grandmother, for instance), but can't find one I like. The main options so far are:

Ava Charlotte
Ava Pearl
Ava Clementine (not linked to family, just like the name!)

Any thoghts? Or other suggestions?

A long middle name ending in "a" works well rythmically:
Ava Francesca Clark
Ava Raffaella Smith
etc

Beatrice
Ruth
Jane
Mary
Rebecca
Catherine
Martha
Louise

I have not even thought about 'have a'! It's amazing the things you don't spot, even after ataring at the name, all initials combinations and trying to put yourself in the mind of a mocking 11 year old.

I like Ava Grace and Ava Katherine, but thought it might look like I had a hollywood starlets obsession...

Weirdly I like Ava Beatrice, which is not a name that would ever occur to me.

I'm pleased you all think a short middle name would be ok - I was worried I should go for a longer one in order to balance out the ridiculously short first and surnames!

Any more suggestions, feel free to keep them coming...

I would stay away from any nouns tbh as written down it looks like 'have a' so therefore Ava Pearl kind of reads 'have a pearl' iykwim.

I like the others though.

Also like Katisha's suggestion of Grace.

Others could be:

Ava Louise
Ava Claire
Ava May
Ava Nicole

this is probably a really silly thought ,but I do wonder about having a name that is also an object (pearl, clementine).. there will always be the joker who pronounces ava like "have a" in a cockney kind of way.
So. Ava Clementine might sound like you are flogging someone some fruit.

I like Ava Charlotte.
How about
Ava Grace
Ava Katherine
Ava Sophie
Ava Emmeline

Ava is lovely by the way

Clementine doesn't scan to me. Think you need one syllable ike say Grace.
