Govan has a pleasant sound.

springpromise · 04/04/2024 16:37

Definitely Paisley. You can call your next one East Kilbride.

Love the variety! My favorite is Alexia, I just feel it's equal parts strong and pretty and I never hear it:)

Elsa
Elsie
Josie
Lauren
Paige

These are nice. I like Elsa best. I think Hayley would work too but I think it would often be misspelled it you spelt it the other way.

desperatedaysareover · 04/04/2024 13:32

Alexia - please set a timer but with an i
Aspen - misspelt muesli
Aviana - budget airline
Elsa - Nazi wife
Elsie - downtrodden drudge
Evi - lost my delivery
Hailey - appreciate the retro vibe but a bit basic
Josie - steadfast and cool, a name for all eras of life
Lauren - everyone was called Lauren in the 90s, surely due a comeback
Paige - don’t mind that, don’t hate it
Paisley - my manor, ngl, it’s a bit like calling your boy Luton

Celia is lovely.

JasminSnyder · 04/04/2024 10:31

Lauren is the most beautiful name among those you provided.
I would also consider Anna or Helena.

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 04/04/2024 08:10

Elsa
Elsie
Josie

Definitely not Paisley. No one who had ever been to Paisley would ever call their child that. It's a down at heel Scottish town near Glasgow, not some picturesque or glamorous location.

Huskyfat · 04/04/2024 07:52

Love the following names from your list:

Alexia
Aviana
Hailey
Josie
Paige
Paisley

Beachs · 04/04/2024 07:02

I really like Aviana but now I’ve written it I can’t unsee the Avian bit. Avian flu

would you pronounce it Aveee-Anna or
avian-a?

what about Eliana?

love Josie too

TheLondonDad · 03/04/2024 15:51

My daughter is Aspen, really love it. Most people we've met relate it to an Aspen tree rather than Aspen Colorado. Most of her friends call her Aspee.

Scottishflower · 03/04/2024 08:38

Aspen is my favourite from your list. Feel it’s still unique but not made up. Love the nature vibe too. X

43ontherocksporfavor · 03/04/2024 08:16

I knew a lovely little girls named Honor. Only one I’ve heard of apart from Honor Blackman. Pronounced On-uh. Also like Orla and Orna.

norfolkbeaches · 03/04/2024 08:11

Josie is really lovely. I like Josephine too with Josie used daily.

itFeelsLikeSummer · 03/04/2024 08:09

Elsie

Fifi80 · 03/04/2024 08:00

Paisley is so nice and unique. I like that one the most. After that, Evi and Josie.

BridgeOverTheRiverWye · 02/04/2024 20:44

I live in the Netherlands ... I also need the names to be pronounceable in different countries.
If you are planning on staying in the Netherlands, check if the names work there.

fightingthedogforadonut · 02/04/2024 20:24

The only one I like is Josie.

MariaVT65 · 02/04/2024 20:02

Any of them except Aspen.

AngelaBB · 02/04/2024 20:00

Not for everyone but I really like Queenie.

serin · 02/04/2024 19:59

Elsie

SorcererGaheris · 02/04/2024 12:13

Elsie and Josie are my favourites of the names you’ve listed.

I also like Laurie for a girl (which I know can be a boys’ name too, and perhaps primarily is seen as such in this country, but it works for girls.)

Mary and Emily would be other suggestions.
