Hi all!

After umming and arrring (sp ?) for 2 plus years I’ve decided to get a little rabbit

You might not be able to tell from the pics but he has the brightest blue eyes and he’s white and very light brown and is a small ‘lionlop’ lion head bunny

what do you think he looks like

Buffy
Blue
Bambi
Coco
Gizmo
Pebbles
Darcey
Louis
Bugsy (my surname is actually Malone!)
Thumper

FWIW we also have a beautiful collie dog called Maddie

Thank you everyone and Happy Weekend/ Easter/ Holidays x

Bugsy for sure.

He will be much happier with a girlfriend. They need the company of their own species to be truly happy - humans are OK but we’re just not as good as other bunnies. Get him neutered and then introduce a wife to him. He will welcome her with open arms and you will love seeing them snuggle up. Then get her neutered too when she’s about 6 months old and they will live long and happy lives together.

Coco or Bugsy
He is gorgeous. Wish I could turn the clock back and have a couple like him.
The name for a girl could be Esther Bunny

Mumofgirls2017 · 30/03/2024 22:14

Deffo Bugsy!!

MeDaughterMerope · 30/03/2024 19:50

Bugsy for sure. Is it an indoor or outdoor rabbit? I'm a rabbit keeper owner fancier enthusiast if you want any advice. (An unsolicited one being a companion rabbit should be Blousey, obviously! Not Tallulah!)

OooScotland · 30/03/2024 17:56

@CocoBellaSparkle Lovely as this is, do you know there is a ‘pets’ section here? Go to ‘talk’ in the top left of the blue banner at the top of the page and follow the menus to ‘small pets’. I think you’ll enjoy it.

DuchessOfSausage · 30/03/2024 16:19

Bugsy. Bugs Bunny & Bugsy Malone

Francisflute · 30/03/2024 09:20

A gorgeous Easter bunny! I actually think he looked like a little Louis!

Nicebloomers · 30/03/2024 09:16

Bugsy for sure! Congrats on your new addition!

MrsMoastyToasty · 30/03/2024 09:12

Gareth. Unless you are married to a well known choir master.

AnnaMagnani · 30/03/2024 09:02

Bunsy is inspired!

Pebbles because she os so cute!

Until I saw you're surname I was undecided. Has to be Bugsy Malone.

but also this.
Rabbits should be kept in pairs, so please adopt two (and get both neutered. 80% of unneutered females get womb cancer).

im surprised youve been allowed to adopt a rabbit at Easter. Lots of rescues near me wont allow it because it is the equivalent of people getting puppies at christmas.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 30/03/2024 08:51

Bugsy, of course! How could you let that opportunity pass?!

Devilshands · 30/03/2024 08:50

Bugsy!

How could you not?!

QueSyrahSyrah · 30/03/2024 08:38

Best thread I've seen in Baby Names for a while! Bugsy Malone 💯

NarnianQueen · 30/03/2024 08:36

He's so adorable!

It HAS to be Bugsy, with your surname! It's too good not to use!

Moreteaandchocolate · 30/03/2024 08:31

Bugsy bunny! He’s gorgeous

A real Easter Bunny! Lovely.

I'll freely admit I clicked on this thread hoping you were asking for opinions on a name for a baby. Easter Grin Now I know you aren't, I'd say Bugsy. Works with Malone, works with Bunny.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 30/03/2024 07:40

Pebbles because she os so cute!

Jewelanemone · 30/03/2024 07:39

Sorry, 'he'!

Jewelanemone · 30/03/2024 07:38

Nothing on this earth cuter than a baby rabbit - she's definitely a Pebbles 💗

Needmorelego · 30/03/2024 07:38

Pebbles would be good because he is the colours of a beach pebble.
🐇

Willmafrockfit · 30/03/2024 07:36

Bugsy is perfect with your surname

Spencer0220 · 30/03/2024 04:46

Gorgeous bunny

My DH swore we always had to have human names so he didn't get embarrassed at vet.

We got a Cookie already named. He LOVES his little Cookie.

I'd honestly pick pebbles. His eyes look like such cute pebbles.

CocoBellaSparkle · 30/03/2024 04:40

OooScotland - thank you for your kind reply! And I love it when the vet says ‘mum’ about my pup when at the vets! It confirms to me that even the vets know that they’re not just our ‘pets’ but like our children!! (In fact my pup is better behaved than my own children 🤣☺️)

ps- your cat sounds awesome and I bet he’s one lucky little cat 🐱
