None of the above names are common at all in our area. I love oliver but dh really isn't keen. Just thought I'd get your opinion on above names

These are exactly the 4 names I came up with when saw the other thread (names of most recent 5 baby boys you know). Oscar particularly prevalent here.

Oliver is a good, strong classic name. It's the only one I like of the four.

The others are very of the moment, even though they are old names, and I think they'll go out of fashion.

I love them all, but they are very popular around here - especially Oliver. If popularity isn’t an issue, then my order of preference would be -

Theo
Noah
Oliver
Oscar

All common and rather mundane now.

Theo and Oliver are the most popular where we live (multiple children in a year group). I really like all the names apart from Noah, my personal order of preference is: Oscar, Theo, Oliver, Noah.

There are three babies called Oscar in my family. Three of my cousins had an Oscar. They are 18, 8 and 3. Two people in my team at work had boys last year, both called Oscar! I think it’s a lovely name but feels to me to be very common.

Oliver used to have the top spot on the boys names list in the UK so must be reasonably common. The other two less so in my experience.

I would have had Theo, or Felix for my DS but they were used by very close friends and family first.
