We have two girls Aoife-Rose and Niamh. We would love something similar like Orla, Isla, Ciara or Maeve if anybody can suggest something easy to pronounce as we are Irish family but kids are schooling in the UK.

Aoife and Niamh are lovely. Ciara goes well.

Personally I think Niamh and Maeve are a bit similar, being two 1 syllable names ending in a hard v sound.

What about Sinead, Seana (although this could be a challenge as it’s “Shannah” and UK people might say Shauna or Seena) Maíre (could be Maura or Mayuh depending on the part of Ireland!).

You have lots of good options.

SkaneTos · 08/02/2024 21:44

I don't know much about Irish names, but I wanted to say that your daughters' names are beautiful! I hope you will find a name that is just as beautiful for your third daughter.

MaloneMeadow · 08/02/2024 20:58

I absolutely adore Maeve - if I had another DD I’d use it in a heartbeat! Fiadh is gorgeous as well
