Which name do you prefer for a girl? Nelly or Eliza?
To go with older brother Noah?

There used to be a cartoon called Noah and Nelly when I was little.

If you introduce your children as Noah and Nelly you'll get a lot of people of a certain age booming "All aboard the Skylark!!" at you.

I like Nell but Nelly? Nelly the elephant, not on your nelly, wet nelly . . .

100% Eliza, especially with Noah. Noah and Nelly sound ridiculous together.

Nelly is an infantile nickname. Helena, Eleanor or Penelope nn Nell(y) could work but I still prefer Eliza.

I do like Nell as a name but I definitely wouldn't want to be called Nelly, personally. 'The elephant' carries such obvious teasing potential. Don't do that to your poor child.

Eliza is lovely and sounds nice with Noah.

Nelly as an actual name is pretty silly

Eliza is nice, Eleanor or Helen or Penelope nn Nell is also nice

I like Nell, but Nelly is terrible. I had a pudding called "Wet Nelly" in a National Trust tea room recently and it was vile. I will never forgive it.
