Which baby girl name

Imogen
Isobel
Erin
Rose (this will likely be used as a middle name but I love it as a stand alone name too)

Background we live in Ireland & DH's family are Scottish hence the Isobel spelling rather than Isabel.

Baby will be here next month & we cannot choose or agree.

Another possibility is Freya but it's super popular atm.

Erin is my favourite and fits well with the herritage.

Isobel isn't overly popular these days. Isabelle/Isabella were everywhere in the 2010s but both seem to be falling in the 2020s. I prefer the Isobel spelling anyway, less frilly. This would be my second choice.

Third choice would be Freya. It's nice but, unlike Isobel and it's variants, this one is very much on the rise so depends how much that would bother you?

I don't dislike Imogen or Rose but Erin, Isobel and Freya are definitely my favourites on your list.

Rose is great, it's overused as a middle name but relatively uncommon as a first name so I like it as a first name. I like all the others too.

They're all lovely. Imogen Rose, Isobel Rose and Erin Rose all sound great. I'm less keen on Freya.
I think my favourite is Erin. But all great.

Isobel isn't overused in England and Wales but Isabelle, Isabel and Isabella are very popular and have been for years.

If there's another Imogen/Isobel/Erin in your circle, she'll probably also be Imogen/Isobel/Erin Rose

I would say they’re all super popular in the U.K, not sure about Ireland. Rose is also every girl’s middle name, it’s so overused.

I really like Isobel.

I really like all of your name choices! In order of preference-

Imogen is one of my all time favourite names, it’s great for all ages, never been overused in any particular decade, and I love Immy for short.

I also love Erin - it’s just so simple and quite pretty but cool sounding. I love that it doesn’t need shortening. Although it’s popular at the moment I don’t think it’s got to the point of being overused.

Freya - similar to Erin - I really like it - it’s popular but not to the extent that it would put me off using it.

Rose - timeless classic that’s proven to date well. And you have the option of Rosie as an affectionate version if you like.

Isobel - when you add up all the Isabel / Isobel / Isabelle / Isabella’s I think this is possibly the most overused name of the decade - that would personally put me off.

Imogen - ok. Don't like Immy
Isobel - ok but Isabella, Isabelle and Isabel are popular so they seem to collectively be overused
Erin - Don't like it. It seems a bit harsh-sounding and nothingy
Rose - every other girl's middle name.

I'd go for Rose Imogen.
