I know a few Saminas. They are of Pakistani heritage and middle-aged. Nice name.

Bethany and Everleigh sound like place names. Beverley makes me thing of horseracing.

Miriam is great too. I’d forgotten how much I like that name. Strong and elegant.

Not Everleigh. Quite apart from the spelling, which is ghastly (sorry!), the first thing I thought of was a ukelele band called the Everly Pregnant Brothers!

@Amy1998 I'm not sure! All I can say is that if my Arabic parents were saying a woman is fat that's the exact word they'd use. I agree it sounds pretty, but it could invite bullying.

Just to warn you 'sameena' is the feminine version of the word fat in Arabic...

Yeah it means plump and happy, even with the Sanskrit/Urdu/Arabic meaning too. But it’s also saying it means “daisy like, one who is beautiful like a daisy” ““Precious, Generous, A healthy girl or fertile land without rock and stone.” Maybe plump and happy means healthy? Idk if Sameena/Samina/Sahmina spelling makes much difference

I really love Everleigh, not heard of that name before, I really like it. I also love Temperley, I met a lovely one recently. Bethany is ok, but I prefer Everleigh.
