Baby girl due end of April

Our top two, after weeks and weeks of filtering down, are....

Paige

Ruby

Middle name is settled regardless - Abra. Pronounced Ay(like hay) bra.

I prefer Ruby, not a fan of Paige, but not sure I like Ruby Abra.
I worked in America many moons ago and worked with an Abra. The feminine for of Abraham.

Hardly wild

Just pointing out the middle name will invite attention

It was just a bit of of taste don't you think? had you read the full thread, you understand the reasoning and why it was important.

My question was on the first name. But you felt the need to completely ignore that and go straight into something I did not require an opinion on.

Almost like you wanted to "invite attention" to yourself 👀👀.

Again, thanks for your input. Goodbye x

MrJollyLivesNextDoor what a very strange and unnecessary comment. The OP asked which do you prefer as a first name, Paige or Ruby, nothing about the middle name which imho is unusual and very pretty.

Thank you.

People be wild right? 😂 Xx

I prefer Paige as a stand alone name but think Ruby goes better with Abra

She won't want to let on at school what her middle name is!

Thanks for your input. I'm sure we will manage.

Also prefer Ruby. My daughters middle name.

Whoonearthevenareyou · 22/01/2024 06:08

I know 3 girls called Paige. I haven't heard of a Ruby and I think it's a lovely name. It's a vote for Ruby from me.

rainbowstardrops · 22/01/2024 06:02

I definitely prefer Ruby.

Lianna077 · 22/01/2024 05:26

Ruby - not keen on Paige.

Paige Ruby Abra Surname?

As long as surname not beginning with T!!!

fishesdrivecars678 · 22/01/2024 03:28

Definitely Ruby, as the names Ruby Abra goes well together.

Pemba · 22/01/2024 01:59

I like Ruby. Pretty and sparky. Paige is OK but quite surnamey, as a pp said.

Elspethelf · 22/01/2024 01:31

I prefer Paige!

Smallonesaremorejuicy · 22/01/2024 01:14

Ruby
Paige is awful

Paige Ruby Abra Surname?

theduchessofspork · 22/01/2024 00:13

Ruby

Not a fan of Paige

Terrrence · 21/01/2024 23:31

I much prefer Ruby. Paige sounds very American and surnamey. Ruby is pretty and strong. It is traditional and yet has a modern sound.

littlemousebigcheese · 21/01/2024 23:25

Hate them both but abra is lovely

CharlotteMakepeace · 21/01/2024 22:50

Ruby is lovely.

justrecognisedmyneighbouronhere · 21/01/2024 22:49

Ruby Abra - when I said it out loud it sounds like rude behaviour to me sorry
