Sophie, Emma, Phoebe or….?

My baby girl is due in a few weeks and we are really struggling to choose a name.

Which do you prefer of the above?

We will probably wait until she’s born to see what we think she suits but it’s driving me mad not being prepared.

There are many other names I would rather call her but sadly my partner doesn’t like any of them 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks everyone for all the positive comments 🥰 I am thinking Sophie Louise or Sophie Beth. I already have a little girl called Molly

Sophie Beth or Sophie Louise are beautiful and go nicely with Molly.

NannyR · 17/01/2024 21:15

They are all really lovely names - I much prefer the simplicity of Sophie and Emma over the more frilly (and popular) Sophia and Emily. Lucy and Eleanor are names with a similar vibe.

Vivi0 · 17/01/2024 21:10

Those three names are all lovely, but in order of preference I’d chose Pheobe, Emma then Sophie.

Honestly don't worry about it. My daughter is called something that was way down my list and I love her name. She suits it.

CharlieBoo · 17/01/2024 18:31

Love Sophie, then Emma, not a fan of Phoebe.

shoopshoopdedoo · 17/01/2024 15:21

All lovely! My order of preference: Phoebe, Emma, Sophie.

KatPatPat · 17/01/2024 14:37

I really don’t get how Sophie can be refreshing from Sophia? From that million of Sophia’s and Sofias that I know at least 30% are called Sophie as short. It’s practically the same name.

DuchessOfSausage · 17/01/2024 11:30

I like all three. I'd put them in the order Emma, Sophie, Phoebe.

SardineJam · 17/01/2024 02:41

Sophie and as the "or"... Niamh

DancingOnMoonbeams · 17/01/2024 02:40

I really like all of them!

Nadal1966 · 17/01/2024 02:39

Sophie is my favourite! I had chosen Sophie as a girl's name if our baby wa a girl. We had a boy instead? Emma is good and quite timeless. Sorry, I do not like Phoebe. It souñds quite hard, anď IMO old fashioned.

Underthesea65 · 17/01/2024 02:30

All lovely. For your "or" I would suggest Jessica

DramaAlpaca · 17/01/2024 02:22

Emma is my favourite, then Sophie. Phoebe is fine, just not really my thing.

Strawberrycheesecake7 · 17/01/2024 00:53

All of them are nice. I’ve always loved the name Sophie and would use it myself but unfortunately it was the name of DH’s first girlfriend so he vetoed it. I still think it’s a lovely name though.

Gowlett · 17/01/2024 00:40

I’ve spelled it wrong. Perhaps not!

Gowlett · 17/01/2024 00:39

Pheobe.

ZiggyZowie · 17/01/2024 00:27

Phoebe. or. Imogen

SheilaFentiman · 17/01/2024 00:22

All good, Phoebe my favourite of the three

PandaG · 17/01/2024 00:22

All good choices in my opinion. Your thread title says 'or' so my suggestion is Rachel - for some reason I think it has a similar vibe to your other choices.
