All three are lovely
Louisa

marshmallowfinder · 12/01/2024 23:54

Louisa. Alice and Emma extremely wet and boring. Also far more commonly heard.

LikeagoddamnVampire · 12/01/2024 23:39

Louisa is my favourite, it's a strong name to me, a Louisa won't take any shit Grin it's a nice change from so many popular names.

Emma is fine but starting to feel a bit dated now, makes me think of 90s girls, so many Emma's!!

Alice is ok, pretty timeless and classic. But not as interesting as Louisa.

Jeelypieces20storeys · 12/01/2024 23:31

All lovely but Louisa is my favourite. Beautiful name and so refreshing in a sea of Emily/Evie/Harper's.

thatneverhappened · 12/01/2024 23:28

All beautiful but Alice is my fave

RestingMurderousFace · 12/01/2024 23:28

Alice.

DramaAlpaca · 12/01/2024 23:25

I like simple, classic names and these three are perfect examples of that. I love them all. If I'd had a daughter, she'd have been Emma.

GenXisthebest · 12/01/2024 23:21

Alice

Feduptosaytheleast · 12/01/2024 23:18

Louisa will constantly be called Louise instead. And like others are saying NN will be Lou or LouLou. Also 'Weezer' stuck for a Louisa I know as her little brother couldn't pronounce it when he started talking, she hates it!

RandomQuestionOfTheDay · 12/01/2024 23:08

Louisa

FayCarew · 12/01/2024 23:03

Alice is nice, Alyce is awful. Alys/Alis only works if you are Welsh

ThirtyFlirtynThriving · 12/01/2024 22:48

Alice/Alys/Alyce

Strawberrycheesecake7 · 12/01/2024 22:43

Alice is one of my favourite names though I prefer it spelled Alys because I’m Welsh. Emma is ok but a bit plain in my opinion. I’m not a huge fan of Louisa.

OopsieeDaisy · 12/01/2024 22:34

Alice is lovely. Emma is ok but I’m not keen on Louisa.

FayCarew · 12/01/2024 22:31

In order of preference: Emma, Alice, Louise, Louisa

BoleynMemories13 · 12/01/2024 20:15

Emma and Alice are lovely. I prefer Louise to Louisa, the extra syllable makes it feel quite posh and formal somehow. But Emma or Alice are preferable.

theduchessofspork · 12/01/2024 19:39

I like Emma the best - it’s a classic but lively too

Louisa and Alice are also very nice, equally so to me. Of those two I’d go with Louisa as it’s least used.

NachosAndCheese · 12/01/2024 13:40

Alice bring so popular puts me off. I like Emma.

Onelife2024 · 12/01/2024 13:39

Alice is my favourite- I have a teenage dd called Alice who loves her name!

Emma is in my top 5 favourite names!

Louisa is gorgeous too.

Great choices 😊

Theoldwoman · 12/01/2024 13:06

Alice 100%

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 12/01/2024 12:01

Alice is the best. Louisa is a good name. Nothing wrong with Emma, but it's been so popular for so long I'd go for something else.

Toodaloobaloo · 12/01/2024 11:57

Louisa is beautiful. Alice is nice too but I always end up thinking of that line from that bloody awful song!

Greyskiesbutyoucarryon · 12/01/2024 11:51

Uncomplicated timeless names, I like all of them and would be happy to have any as my name. Can't pick a favourite.

My gf is Lucy and got Lu and Lulu at school, it became a nickname that stuck and if she bumps into anyone from school days they'll call her Lu. Something to bare in mind if you don't like Lou.

PauaPuffGirl · 12/01/2024 11:50

All lovely names but if I had to choose one it would be Louisa

Grumpsy · 12/01/2024 11:44

I also like Alice - not a fan of Louisa - will likely be shortened to Lou. Emma I don’t really have an opinion on
