George - I like it but it’s quite a different mood to his sister’s names
Kenny I think it’s a bit too early to revive..
Hugo - same as George
Joie (“Joy”) too much pressure
Rose - I like it but one floral name is enough I always think

Ethel must be due a comeback! It’s a great name. It makes me think of the beautiful older sister in Just William

MistletoeRegrets · 30/12/2023 19:20

Rose, or Ivy for a girl.

Below stairs names for boys are a bit trickier. (The ones you suggest seem too contemporary!)

Stanley
Arthur
Albert

That sort of thing …

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 30/12/2023 19:13

2 syllables, to keep the pattern.
Of those already suggested, Clover is too close to Flora, but Daisy, Mabel, Nancy. would work, as they have a different vowel sound from the existing sibling names.
Same rules would apply to a boy's name.

Newnamesoembarrassed · 30/12/2023 19:11

Can’t imagine a 20/30 yr old called Ethel, but it does suit their name theme

Familiaritybreedscontemptso · 30/12/2023 19:10

Ethel?

Gaggley · 30/12/2023 19:08

Gretel for a girl
Dominic for a boy

Newnamesoembarrassed · 30/12/2023 19:07

Thora is a bit too close to Flora, but thanks for the others…
I like Rose too but my brother wouldn’t want it shortened to Rosie as it gives him Rosie and Jim vibes
