Really struggling with boys name

Hi, due next week. Can’t find a name we both love!
not keen on ‘y’ or ‘ie’ ending. (not set in stone)
surname starts with S.
names we love but can’t use,

I feel like I’ve exhausted all options (I’m sure I haven’t) Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone, some lovely suggestions there to go over with DH this evening.
Some that we both like just don’t go very well with surname and makes it hard to say.
I always thought naming would be one of the easier, more pleasurable decisions to make while considering a child but now it’s got to this stage I’m finding it very stressful!

Colin was popular in the UK up to the late 1960s and seems very dated.

If I’d have had a boy I’d have strongly considered Colin, I think it works for all ages and never popular enough to feel dated.

The Alistairs I know are shortened to Al or Ali (or a mix of both)

I don't like Noah. Leo is nice but too popular.
Love James but would run into the surname.

Not keen on Noah or Leo I like most of the names on your can't use list except Robin and Elliot. Other names I like are

Yes Henry also should be on can’t use list, love Alistair - what would it get shortened too generally? Not sure I personally know any Alistairs 🤔

Thanks guys, they do seem traditional.. not intentionally!
open to more ‘out there’ suggestions too.
I like Leo but DH not keen. Same with Noah!
