What do you think of the girls name Alora?
It's a town in Spain and also links to Spanish word. Would you consider it to be a strong name that would age well?
Look forward to reading your views. The other name we have is Sofia. If you had to pick between Sofia and Alora which would you choose?
Thanks 😊

The spanish town is Álora. People will read Alora as Al-O-ra* *

Sofía is better.

Alora makes me thing of a new wonder drug or a cleaning product.

What Spanish word does it link to?

webbydeb · 17/12/2023 20:23

In Italian doesn't it mean oh well?

Actually really like Alora. Sofia/Sophia is pretty common now. Sofia would go as a middle name☺️

Sounds like a Harry Potter spell, sorry

It just makes me think Allora. Sofia is much better and a classic name.

I'd pick Sofia

Alora sounds very pretty and I'm sure Alora is a lovely town. However sounds a bit like a cleaning product and she will be called Flora or Aurora
