Isabella and ? - 10 day old twins

My twin girls are now 10 days old and still effectively nameless.
We are pretty set on Isabella for one baby but baby 2 is nameless.
We don't care about popularity but do want the names to feel like they go well together (I know some people don't care about this but we do). DH would like them to have the same number of letters/syllables but I'm less fussed on that.

So far we've tried but not adored
Madeline
Florence (hard no)
Amelia (leading favourite, but DH doesn't like that it's shorter)
Savannah (I'm not a fan)
Sophia
Florissa (totally different vibe and I don't love it!)

At this point I'm thinking we scrap Isabella as a name and go for Amelia and Sophia (DH would be fine with this as he just wants same number of letters etc.) but I do love Isabella ... help !!

Two four syllable names is going to be a bit of a mouthful - if you intend to use Izzy, Bella, belle etc then matching letter /syllable counts seem a bit pointless unless the letter/syllable count is also applied to the nickname and if you intend to use full names at all times then think about the practicalities of shouting 8 syllable across the play park! Names don't have to have the same number of letters to 'match'.

Eliza, Olivia, Amelia, (I think you need a name with a vowel and the start) but they would work better with Isabel (the a at the end makes it a mouthful).

Is it that Isabella (as a twin so put together with the other name more so than with other siblings) has an ending that's hard to match with.

So either turn it around in your head so it becomes Amelia and Isabella (which somehow seems easier to say although there's no real reason for it).
Or have you considered dropping the 'a' so it's Isabelle and (insert name). Especially if you like other names starting with vowel sounds.

A few people have suggested Elizabeth

Would recommend not doing Isabella and Elizabeth, as Isabella is a form of Elizabeth. They feel different (though since I found that out, I can't not notice the similarity), but it feels a bit weird using the "same" name, especially for twins.

Question: would DH be so obsessed with matching letters/syllables if they were singleton birth sisters? If not, then you have every reason to just choose a favourite that flows, like you would otherwise.

I think this is actually a nice reason to choose Elizabeth - both names started out the same but are now considered totally different. A nice analogy to twins

Charlotte - Bella/Izzie and Lottie - Not quite the same number of letters but as it’s a lint name I think loots done.
