Similar but less popular- Oliver, Leo, Max

We love Oliver, Leo, Max or Freddie. However, all are incredibly popular. Any suggestions of similar feel but less popular.

I also like Wilfred, Theodore, Sebastian, Caspar but DH isn't keen. We don't want anything too unusual but a little less overused would be good.

Honestly, just pick the name you love the most and don’t get caught up in worrying about popularity. We named our boy Nicholas (Nico) as it was my favourite name for a long time, and an added bonus was that it was a ‘normal’ name but uncommon nowadays - 19 Nicholas’ born in Scotland the year he was born…well, there are 3 Nicholas’ at his nursery, all born the same year 😂

Max, Leo and Freddie are the most popular names amongst young boys (birth to 3yr) that I've come across. They are lovely names. Haven't come across any Olivers that age yet (but do know Olives and Olivias).

I have a Leo - it wasn’t common at all when I had him a decade ago.

Ellis (would’ve chosen this too as first name but his dad wanted it as middle)
