Jacob, Noah and......

islasoleil123 · 25/11/2023 22:54

Struggling to name a girl.
Jacob, Noah and......

  1. Delilah Rose (Really like but worry about biblical connotations?)
  2. Eve Rose (Too plain and simple?)
  3. Phoebe Rose (Would I be setting her up for a life of wrong spellings of her name?)
  4. Theodora Rose
Look forward to seeing your opinions. Thank you.

Surely Rebekah?

theduchessofspork · 26/11/2023 10:40

I really like Phoebe - it’s sufficiently popular I wouldn’t worry about spelling

I also like the Esther and Naomi suggestions

Susannah
Elizabeth nn Eliza
Lois
Anna / Hannah
Flora
Honor
Oona
Alice
Edith
Eleanor
Claudia
Lydia
Serena
Louisa
Imogen
Marianne

might be others

Delilah is too frilly for me and reminds me of that song. Eve is way too overdone. I quite like Theodora but there are an awful lot of Theodores and Theas - it would be shortened to Thea / Dora / Teddie, so you’d have to be happy with that.

Rose is very overdone as a middle name so you might want to add something else or find something else

Thank you all.
I do love Delilah, more so than Phoebe I think. I agree about Eve blending in with all the similar names.
The only other name I like is Ariel but think it's more male than female and different pronunciations..

Eve Rose

DisplayPurposesOnly · 26/11/2023 10:26

Prefer Hester to Esther

ChickenBhunaandChips · 26/11/2023 10:26

Eve, there are soooo many Evies. Love Eva but feel like There are just too many Evies.

Also, every Phoebe/Eve will be a Phoebe Rose. It’s the ultimate filler middle name with Grace and May.

Not a fan of Theodora but love Thea. And I love Theo for a boy.

Violet1988 · 26/11/2023 10:21

Delilah is absolutely perfect stop overthinking 😀

islasoleil123 · 26/11/2023 10:18

Would really like another biblical name, but I'm not really sure about any girls names. Love lots of biblical boys names but not so much girls names.
I'm not keen on long names that are likely to be shortened. I prefer a given name being the name used, as much as possible.

More biblical names:
Susannah
Elizabeth
Judith
Martha
Magdalen
Anna
Tamsin
Tamar

Of those already mentioned, I like most of the biblical names. I would certainly want to continue the theme given that your sons both have biblical names.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 26/11/2023 08:44

Chloe came to mind when I saw your boys names.

NotExactlySuits · 26/11/2023 07:41

I like Phoebe most from your choices, then Eve or Eva which is lovely.

Rose is actually my favourite! So pretty.

Rebecca
Hannah
Sarah
Rachel

All quite underused Biblical names for babies at the moment.

I think Grace would go really well with her siblings too.

Mumofgirls2017 · 26/11/2023 07:37

Phoebe or Eve.

SparklingSparkle · 26/11/2023 07:15

Maggie

BoleynMemories13 · 26/11/2023 07:13

Phoebe is my favourite of those 4 and it goes well with her brothers names. Surely most people know how to spell Phoebe these days? It's quite popular.

I prefer Eva to Eve. The other two are a bit too long and frilly for me, although I quite like Thea as a stand alone name.

pizzaHeart · 26/11/2023 00:20

Heckythump1 · 25/11/2023 23:43

Jacob, Noah and Poppy
Jacob, Noah and Lucy
Jacob, Noah and Millie
Jacob, Noah and Sophie

I like these ones^ . I think it should be a short name.

Wherearemykeysagain · 26/11/2023 00:13

I like the phoebe option

Mum5net · 25/11/2023 23:57

Nina

BigBoysDontCry · 25/11/2023 23:51

Less overtly biblical
Areli
Amaris

I also like miriam or Esther from previous suggestions.

Or Hannah, Rebecca, Ruth?

Sholkedabemus · 25/11/2023 23:50

Rebecca

fourelementary · 25/11/2023 23:45

Bethany is a biblical name but a modern feel.
I love Esther even though it’s old fashioned.
Miriam is also lovely.
Or what about Jude? I know it’s a male biblical name but is a perfectly acceptable female name too…

Heckythump1 · 25/11/2023 23:43

Jacob, Noah and Poppy
Jacob, Noah and Lucy
Jacob, Noah and Millie
Jacob, Noah and Sophie

NuffSaidSam · 25/11/2023 23:39

Phoebe is lovely, I'd use that.

I'd try and think of a different middle name unless Rose has some great significance, it's the ubiquitous middle name at the moment.

Mikki77 · 25/11/2023 23:37

Maya Rose
Ava Rose
Isabella Rose

KnickerlessParsons · 25/11/2023 23:30

Abigail Rose
Hannah Rose
Elizabeth Rose
Mary Rose (maybe not 😊 but I love the name Mary)
Margaret

mugofstew · 25/11/2023 23:29

Esther
Tabitha
Thea

I do like Delilah.
