Arthur and Penelope. Arthur and Penny for short.
Edited to add: Arthur and Laura. After hearing them together on MAFS, the Arth'ur' and Laur'a' at the ends sound nice together.

I can’t work out why people do this. Why do names have to ‘go together’? It’s like the firstborn sets the tone and subsequent children have don’t get to have their own name.
I say this as a third child in a themed set.
Surely just go with a name you like?

How do they not get their own name? No one has suggested Arthur2.

'going together' is good because children perceive it as fair. Because you call them together a lot and it's nicer/easier. It's not a 'themed set' it's names that sound good to ether not 'trees' 'food' or wherever other theme 'Harry Potter characters'

@mummy32k Arthur is a good name, lots of names go with it!

Do you plan on using Arthur as an every day name or something more like Artie? No point in 'going with' with only Arthur if you plan on using Artie mostly.

i like Arthur & Matilda with 'every days' of Artie & Mati/Tilly

Something else from Arthurian legend? Isolde or one of its variants.

Quite often people like a certain 'type' of name. All the children end up with names of that type. For instance - George, Charlotte, Louis; Nevaeh, Trinity, Skyla; Lola-Mae, Lexi-Rae, Archie-Gray; Peregrine, Algernon, Fenella; Parker, Carter, Taylor, etc.

Sometimes a child can stand out from the rest of the family and resent it if given a name in a different style from the other names. I've overheard people wondering if certain children were adopted when they already had well established names upon hearing the names of certain families.

It's not a theme but it is odd when one child is very different and then it can be strange for that child. I used to know a sibset something like Emma, James and Barley and I thought it was strange. I also had a good friend who had an extremely unusual name (I've never even heard of someone else with this name, I think it was a star name) and her sib was David! "Oh wow, your name is so unusual, what's your brother's name? David? Oh, OK."

Yes, but does it matter? The siblings will spend the majority of their lives apart, so how their names ‘go’ won’t matter.
