Felix or Jasper?

Week old baby boy can't decide on his name, siblings are Cecelia and Owen.

Choosing now between Felix or Jasper, I know some people consider them to be pets names or whatever but that doesn't bother me.

Middle name will be Thomas and our surname is long and double barrelled starting with an L.

My first vote was Felix but with your other children's name I think jasper goes better

They are both dog or cat names to me. However, my dog is called Harvey so I am partly to blame for this association!

Definitely Jasper! Felix is also cute, in fact I may even prefer it. However, Jasper Thomas has a better ring to it and goes with the siblings.

Both are great names, but I think Jasper with Thomas as Felix also ends with an s sound.

It would be Jasper Thomas

Thomas is DBIL and also DH best mates name so getting double points for honouring both of them in one middle name 😅

Felix does say cat to me, and the only human one I know is a head wrecking fucker.

Also Jasper is a rather lovely red quartz

Jasper. On its own and it also works perfectly with the siblings names (not that that matters in the long run but it just feels perfect).

Both lovely names. One is going to be my DS name, one is my lovely friend’s DS name.

My older DS also has a name that was considered a pet name on mumsnet and it has never been mentioned in real life!

Felix won't work with a surname beginning with L. Too many L sounds together.

Jasper goes well with Owen (Jasper was the son of Owen Tudor).
