Slightly piggy backing off another thread in this topic but just really curious about this.

Obviously we've all heard of some very unusual suggestions on this site and we can all think of a celeb that's opted for something very unique but in your day to day life what would you say is most unusual you've come across?

For me it'd probably be Maverick for a boy and Lavender-Lily for a girl.

I’ve come across a Hallelujah, nn Lu, in the park. I really like it!

I knew a woman who genuinely, seriously considered (not as a joke/she wasn't pulling my leg) calling her new baby daughter Stunna.

@SoupDragon 'unusual' doesn't always equal 'laughable'. It's just a name not widely used. The opposite of the Olivia's and Noah's.

I'd imagine that anyone sensitive to the opinions of others regarding a name they might like would simply not click on the thread. Can't really complain when you go looking for something to be upset about.

Prince Albert. I wish I was joking 🤣

In England, I’ve met a ten year old Gandalf, a baby Ace, a young Midsummer, a Betsy-Blue, a Percy. Lots of names from elsewhere that would be strange here.

Honey-Blossom for a girl!

Not someone I know but someone I encountered in real life, calling their child in a shop. I was genuinely perplexed, although it made me really want some blossom honey 😂

Oh good. A "let's laugh at people's names" thread. Hurrah!

I work in a primary school. I can’t comment as would out myself. But… so many!
