Going round in circles with girls names…Molly and…?

I’ve posted a few times before but I am really struggling with girls names. We agreed on Chloe and then I went off it after about a month. Then we decided on Daisy which I LOVE but now my partner’s gone off it. Big sis is Molly.

I’m hoping he comes round but if not can you please rank the below 3 names-

Chloe - I think I’m coming back round to it but there’s something I’m not 100% about
Emma - always liked this name but worried it’s too bland
Phoebe - this used to be my favourite girls name when I was a teenager but there’s something I can’t put my finger on holding me back

Middle names will be Kate or Louise

Chloe Kate
Emma Louise
Phoebe Kate
Phoebe Louise

@mathanxiety thank you - I absolutely love Cora but my partner doesn’t like it at all, same with June! Although I think I could maybe use June as a middle name ❤️

A few suggestions, though you've probably considered them all:
Emily
Zoe
Tess
Tessa
Cora
June
Lucy
Ellen
Sylvie
Evelyn
Nancy
Rosalie

The Molly I knew had a sister called Devon

ladygindiva · 18/11/2023 21:56

Also love Louisa , it's lovely

ladygindiva · 18/11/2023 21:56

I wouldn't go for another e sounding end. Sounds too matchy. Kate is good, it's trad like Molly but strong. Names I think would also work;
Ellen
Alice
Nora

Sunshineclouds11 · 18/11/2023 21:51

Love Louisa!

Billlio · 18/11/2023 21:49

Thanks for all the replies everyone!

I think maybe part of my problem is that these are the only names my partner really likes - so I feel a bit like I have to go with one of them and am settling for a name I don’t love.

Phoebe is probably what I’m leaning towards the most at the minute.

I definitely don’t think Emma’s themselves are bland - I know quite a few of them and they are all lovely which is part of the appeal of the name for me.

I like Amy but have a close relative called this so couldn’t use it either.

Daisy was my first thought.
Molly and Louisa.

DesertSnow · 18/11/2023 17:36

I think Phoebe goes well with Molly

Applerumleandcustard · 18/11/2023 17:34

My name is Emma , and it’s ( I’m ) not bland , it’s timeless and classic ( and one of my friends has a cat called Emma )
Don't go with Emma Louise though , whilst it sounds lovely together it’s a bit samey ( Louise , Grace , May , Rose = the fail safe middle names )
I don’t like Kate particularly, it’s short for Katherine
Emma Katherine would be my suggestion , at least it’s the same initials

Mobey78 · 18/11/2023 17:26

I like Emma and Kate from your list.

Kate Louise is nice.

CharlieBoo · 18/11/2023 16:10

Phoebe goes best from your list.. but Daisy I love with Molly too (sorry no help)

theduchessofspork · 18/11/2023 15:03

Kate
or second choice Emma

They are both classic but lively

You don’t want two y ends, it’s too twee

I like Kate better short for Katherine or Caitlin / Catrin, but it’s nice anyway

Somewhatchallenging · 18/11/2023 12:24

Emma goes best with Molly. Neither Phoebe or Chloe particularly go, but they’re both nice names, and all of them are fine. Kate is also nice, though I’d go for Katherine on a birth certificate.

Blueshinemoon · 18/11/2023 12:21

Definitely Phoebe Kate. Phoebe goes well with Molly, the others feel a bit dull/ overdone.

KirstenBlest · 18/11/2023 09:48

I'm not keen on Kate as a middle name (makes me think of masticate), It's lovely as a first name

Chloe was overpopular about 20 years ago. I know many and they all seem to be Chlo.

Phoebe goes well with Molly but I prefer Emma.

Molly and Jasmine sounds good.

somethingischasingme · 18/11/2023 09:16

Before I read your op I thought Phoebe!

CareConundrum · 18/11/2023 03:04

Emma Kate or Emmeline Kate both lovely.

Have you considered Eliza or Alice, both seem to fit the length and style of name you're favouring?
