I'm a fan of traditional classics so would be happy to see names like Matthew, Peter, Nicholas, Jonathan, Christopher, Rebecca and Catherine make it back into the top 100.

For those mentioning David, it's actually by far the most most popular name at my (large) primary school. I know at least 8 under the age of 10! But I work in a very multi cultural community, and although it has fallen in popularity a lot over the years with white British families, it's still incredibly popular among many Eastern European and African communities. Adam and Daniel are two others which seem to have massive international appeal and we currently have quite a few of those too.

I'm a never ending story fan and would love to meet a little Atreyu one day...not happened yet though.

I knew a baby Spike a few years ago and I thought that was the cutest name ever.
