3 Clementines have gone through my nursery in recent years. All Clemmies.

You can thank Amanda Owen for that.

I have a colleague who went to uni with a girl called Velvet. Allegedly!

NuffSaidSam · 29/09/2023 19:38

I think Clementine is growing in popularity, I know 3! Laurie is also fairly commonplace.

I know a Clark and a Jazzy.

Haven't ever met any of the other names on your list.

I once met a toddler called Derek, not an unusual name but quite unusual on a child these days.

Robinbuildsbears · 29/09/2023 19:38

I once went to school with a girl called Kestrel, really nice name

Bohobetty0 · 29/09/2023 19:37

@SkaneTos Ive heard for both a baby girl and a teenage boy, neither short for anything

Maybe you’re thinking of the couple Stewart and Francis who recently named their daughter Rebel?

Wasn't a celebrity as far as I was aware

@SkaneTos only ever met this one particular Patsy, maybe a family name or something but had never heard it before

Ariola looks like a typo of Areola

SkaneTos · 29/09/2023 19:34

Is Laurie for a boy or a girl? It makes me think of the character Laurie in "Little Women", but I think it's just a nickname for him.

Gowlett · 29/09/2023 19:32

I like Jazzy.

Are Riot & Rebel the kids of a celeb?
I’m sure I read those names recently.

Interesting list!

Axel is a common name in my home country! But I guess it can be tricky to have siblings with names that are too similar to each other.

I thought Patsy was a fairly classic British name?
