Astrid &… ?

Need a boy name to go with it!

our last name is very common and one syllable (eg Jones)

need a Boy and a Girl name now.

pretty much set on Astrid for girl but struggling with a boy name…

I really like Edwin but DH is on the fence.
He likes Oliver but I’m not keen ( sweet but a bit boring IMO)
Etienne also an option but not sure it’s “the one”

we already have 2 DS both with names that are recognisable but not commonly heard and a little old fashioned (think Albert, Cecil… similar to these)

any suggestions?

got a feeling we’ve made this much harder for ourselves, the list of options is suddenly much longer 👀

A public forum doesn’t give you carte Blanche to give a (condescending) opinion where it’s not wanted. I was polite the first time and you have resorted to using “love” to be patronising.

Do you have any suggestions or do you just lurk around to be negative

if this was AIBU I would understand but really

Other options in the running -

Astrid & Iver (after a MN suggestion)
Astrid & Ingo (but I’m on the fence about this one)
Astrid & Ernie (would be Ernest)

I like vowel names in case you hadnt guessed haha

To be honest we really struggled with boy names, and had picked 'Mordecai' which I've gone off now.
