Charlotte.

Scruffington · 15/09/2023 11:05

Celeste. Love it.

Charlotte is boring and needs to be rested for a few decades. Along with Sophie. Then they'll be fresh again.

Celeste - beautiful
Charlotte - boring

Charlotte

I'm not a big fan of either. Charlotte probably edges ahead for me though. It is safe but a little boring. Char isn't a great sound.

MaybeSeven · 15/09/2023 05:51

I like both, but would go for Celia which has a sort of similar flavour to both of them but has a bit more oomph

whirlyhead · 15/09/2023 05:39

Celeste. There are far too many people called Charlotte - I know about 5, one of whom is one of the worlds worst human beings which does put you off the name.

garlictwist · 15/09/2023 05:25

I used to have a 2CV called Celeste. Great name.

Lifeinlists · 14/09/2023 23:58

Charlotte. Timeless and elegant. Suits any age equally.

Daisybuttercup12345 · 14/09/2023 23:55

Charlotte. Pretty and timeless.

KayEmAy · 12/09/2023 19:53

Celeste all day!

ATerrorofLeftovers · 12/09/2023 19:51

Charlotte.

It’s popular, yes, but this is for good reason. It sounds beautiful and is classic, timeless and has no bad associations. I do like Celeste, but agree it sounds like a contraceptive or antidepressant.

Celeste, it reminds me of Babar the elephant but that's part of why I like it.

💛

BCBird · 12/09/2023 19:46

I like them both. Celeste is lovely, a nit more unusual.

PickledScrump · 12/09/2023 19:45

Definitely Celeste, Charlotte is so awfully dull

shoopshoopdedoo · 12/09/2023 19:25

Charlotte.

Theoldwoman · 12/09/2023 13:59

Charlotte

Elegant, timeless, classic.

Snoken · 12/09/2023 09:57

Charlotte. Celeste reminds me of Babar and My Little Pony (Celestia?), it's too cutesy for me. Charlotte can be Charlie, Lottie, Lotta...

Berlinlover · 12/09/2023 09:52

Definitely Charlotte, Celeste reminds me of a contraceptive pill I took years ago.

JanesBlond · 12/09/2023 09:49

I really like Charlotte and Lottie is adorable.

I like the idea of Celeste but in practice it sounds like a drug name (in fact I used to take a bcp called cilest) and doesn’t have a good diminutive, so doesn’t get my vote.

Cheesenpickleontoast · 12/09/2023 09:48

Celeste. Beautiful and has a nice meaning. Lots of variations; Celene, Celia, Selena.

CameronDiazBlonde · 12/09/2023 09:48

We don't use the term WASP in England though we might next given that USAs biggest export is pop culture and the whole of western Europe is becoming more American each time I blink.
