Full-moon

NorthWestThree · 04/09/2023 21:33

Marnie-Rose is super cute

TheYearOfSmallThings · 04/09/2023 21:30

I'm pretty sure it is not.

Shock!

I stand corrected! Oakley is somehow in the top 100 UK boy names!

ReeseWitherfork · 04/09/2023 21:32

TheYearOfSmallThings · 04/09/2023 21:30

I'm pretty sure it is not.

67th most popular name in 2021. Almost 1000 baby boys named Oakley.

Blondebutnotlegally · 03/09/2023 23:19

Oakley is a relatively common boys name

I'm pretty sure it is not.

AuntieStella · 04/09/2023 21:28

Of those three, Marnie-Rose

Luna remains very much a dog's name (because of the silent "tic") - people like it, but give it to a non-human creature because it's a little awkward to live with. Doubly so if hyphenated with its meaning.

Ray is a boy's name, and I think it's wrong for a girl. Not wild about Nova, because it doesn't travel (means roughly "it's broken" or "it doesn't go" in much of our neighbouring Europe)

Tintackedsea · 04/09/2023 21:23

Marnie is lovely

continentallentil · 04/09/2023 01:06

Get a grip on yourself woman, you aren’t giving birth to a poodle.

Hyphens are always low rent

Nova and Marnie are OK

Luna is a bit looney

NewName122 · 04/09/2023 00:36

All are awful. Is this a joke op?

CallieQ · 04/09/2023 00:23

How about Looney-toon

CallieQ · 04/09/2023 00:22

2424x2424 · 03/09/2023 22:37

{this is including middle names}

Nova-Ray, Luna-Moon, Marnie-Rose

Joking... right?

Awful

ellenpartridge · 03/09/2023 23:53

I suppose Marnie-Rose but I don't like the hyphen

PurpleChrayne · 03/09/2023 23:53

Oh god they are all dreadful. Like names a child would come up with for their dolls.

IDontLoveTheWayYouLie · 03/09/2023 23:48

@Blondebutnotlegally I have only met one before so maybe that's why it doesn't seem right to me. Each to their own though.

Marcipex · 03/09/2023 23:38

I like Marnie-Rose.

i wouldn’t use Moon as a name. There will always be one who knows what mooning is.

Octosaurus · 03/09/2023 23:36

Aquamarine1029 · 03/09/2023 22:51

Fucking hell. None. The hyphenation is dreadful.

Lol!

Blondebutnotlegally · 03/09/2023 23:19

IDontLoveTheWayYouLie · 03/09/2023 23:03

I did think this after seeing the boys list on anothet post and saw Oakley and Navy as options 😂

Oakley is a relatively common boys name

PlipPlopChoo · 03/09/2023 23:03

Why must people hyphenate names?

Awful awful trend.
