Not expecting atm, but always have a wee notion of another down the line.

We have all boys and have a bit of a pang that we didn’t get to use our girls names - my favourite was Anna & husband’s was Kate.

If we ever had a fourth child, I don’t think we could choose between them. So I was thinking, maybe mother’s name?

Is Patricia too dated? I don’t like Pat/Patty/Patsy or anything like that.

I've met some lovely Patricia's, it doesn't stop the name from being shit.

Mil was Patricia and I loved her so for me Patricia is a strong woman who knows her own mind and loves her family fiercely.

My mum is Patricia & she is a Trish. It's not a modern name but i don't think it's 'utterly awful'. It's unique and that's not a bad thing. I'm sure there's other variations of it.

the shortened versions are all awful. And it isn't a great name anyway.

would be a fabulous middle name though.

It's in that same Joyce and Barbara style that seems to be slightly creeping in, if threads on here are anything to go by.

I think Patricia is quite drab (sorry!) but it may well become fashionable again.
