Do you see Jude as a women’s name?

I love the name Jude - it reminds me of my favourite band! But when I mention it to people they always mention it’s a ladies name. Other options are Phoenix or Edwin ‘Eddie’ - a family name.

I know both a female and a male Jude so I find it unisex.

No. Women called Judith are usually known as Judy, aren't they? And when Jude Law was a massive heart throb, nobody said, "Ewww, he has a girl's name!"

I've known 2 Jude's - both male! I think it's a lovely name in any case and works both ways.
