Variation of Karen for a boy

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and my mum died unexpectedly 4 weeks ago. Her name was Karen and me and husband would LOVE to honour her as our babies middle name but he's a boy.

Does anyone have any ideas how we can make a more masculine version of Karen?

I agree with others say about Karen being short for Katherine and then can be shortened to Kit. Kit is a lovely name. ❤️

I knew a male friend called Karen pronounced CarREN

He was Dutch. Not heard it again since.

I think Karan and Ren are both lovely middle names and link quite well.

Karan - Sanskrit male name
Casen - Irish meaning ‘pure’ (same as Karen)
Erkan - Turkish male name anagram
Keran - anagram
Zaki - Arabic meaning ‘pure’
Koren - Hebrew ‘pure’

Traditional in my part of Scotland to use mother's maiden name as a middle name. Could you use your mother's maiden name?
Obviously a surname not an extra first name.
