Currently leaning towards Alice.

Hit me with other suggestions :)

I love Madeleine for a middle name but not sure if it’s still too closely associated with McCann

Madeleine is a lovely name and not so strongly associated with poor missing Maddie. Do you like the "French-ness" or the nicknames Maddie and Lainey?

Or you could go with Elena (Ah-LANE-ah) or play with adding an M for variations of Malayna. Perhaps use Madeline, like the picture book?

Imogen Madeline Lastname? Jocasta Adelaide? Rowena Layne?

Congratulations & HTH!

Rupert & Romy Smile

Came to say the same, usually not fussed on the matching initial thing but love them if they’re both R’s
