Rank my girls names please

Hello! I’ve narrowed down my girls name list to the below. Please could you rate them in order of preference and try not to be too harsh 😬

Dorie (after my grandmother, partner doesn’t like it though but it’s my fave 😭)
Rosie
Emma
Cassie
Eloise
Sophie

I like the names as they are and wouldn’t be putting longer versions on birth certs.

I love Emma (and Emily). Also really like Sophie. They've certainly aged better than Rachel and Laura (half the girls in my year had one or other of those names!)

I'm not keen on Eloise but now I think about it, I think I'm heavily influenced by a right little shit I once knew. It's quite pretty in it's own right!

Cassie is fine, wouldn't chose it but wouldn't pull a face.

Rosie is pretty but I've met 3 under 3 in the last month and a half, if that influences you at all!

Dorie- sounds like Dory, I wouldn't do it. Sounds like Dorrie, I think is cute toddler name..

They are all gorgeous names, with the exception of Dorie (sorry!)

However, Dorothy with the diminutive Dorie would be lovely.

In order of preference

Emma - favourite by far, lovely, simple, pretty, traditional yet fresh sounding.

Cassie
Rosie - prefer Roseline, Rose, Rosanna, Roseanne

Sophie
Eloise
Dorie - prefer Dora

but I think Dorie is really great. So many girls with those other names so they’re a bit bland. Dorie isn’t bland, I’d remember a Dorie if she were in my daughters class and think it was a really interesting name!

Rosie - lovely.
Emma - boring.
Cassie - lovely. Prefer Cassandra.
Eloise - Beautiful.
Sophie - ok

Sophie is definitely my favourite from your list, but Dorie is cute and unusual. I like Rosie, Emma is ok, not keen on Elouise or Cassie.

Rosie - like it, would be in my top 3
Emma - nice but a bit dull maybe
Cassie - lovely, top 3
Eloise - have never been keen on it, not sure why
Sophie - again, nice but a bit too classic maybe

I’d go Rosie or Cassie if your partner doesn’t agree with you on your favourite
