Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
POWL01 · 13/08/2023 17:00

I like it!

Ohyousillydivvy · 13/08/2023 17:00

Adaline Adams

Tanya1984 · 13/08/2023 16:59

Love it

You can call your baby whatever you want as it's your baby. Groups like this will be full of unsolicited opinions and different tastes too.

No one likes what we just called our son but he's not their son and it's not their decision x

Cinai · 13/08/2023 16:57

As PP suggested, I think Ida Adams or Ava Adams would be great choices. These flow much better and in my opinion, Ida and Ava sound better than Ada

daisypond · 13/08/2023 16:54

I quite like it, even though I’m not keen on Ada generally.

Busubaba · 13/08/2023 16:51

It's a bit sing song.

Amy Adams sounds better but I have a feeling it's the name of a celebrity.

porridgeisbae · 13/08/2023 16:14

I don't mind it.

LAlD · 13/08/2023 15:58

How about Adaline Adams?

I love alliterative names.

StarPotential · 13/08/2023 15:57

No. I don’t even like Ada on its own.

CurlewKate · 13/08/2023 15:52

It's a barmaid in a very dated detective novel. Probably "no better than she ought to be"

Changethetoner · 13/08/2023 15:44

It's really not a good choice. Sorry.
How about Amy Adams?

webster1987 · 13/08/2023 15:44

I love it personally!

SpamFrittersYouSay · 13/08/2023 15:42

WiseUpJanetWeiss · 13/08/2023 15:13

And people will pronounce it Ada Radams.

This.

fivelilducks · 13/08/2023 15:38

I actually love it

Belladonna56 · 13/08/2023 15:35

I wouldn't, to be honest. There are better choices.

EsmeShelby · 13/08/2023 15:34

I like it. She sounds like a super hero! Peter Parker, Bruce banner etc.

YoongiMarryMe · 13/08/2023 15:34

If you want her to be a superhero you should. So that’s a huge yes from me, love it!

PankWuffin · 13/08/2023 15:28

I knew a family called McWilliams who named all their first born sons William 😬.

It's 'a thing' in some families.

That said, I'm not keen on Ada Adams. If you live near London as I do though, Ada will sounds like Aaaaayyyyyy-DAH anyway so not that like Adams.

TheDuchessOfMN · 13/08/2023 15:27

I think Ava Adams is lovely

Mumoftwoinprimary · 13/08/2023 15:25

DuesToTheDirt · 13/08/2023 15:07

Is he Edward Woodward? Grin

Not quite but you have the right idea!

StandingMyGround888 · 13/08/2023 15:25

Amazing, love it.

TheYadaYada · 13/08/2023 15:24

No, awful.

scotstarstrikestwo · 13/08/2023 15:23

My son is an AA and it sounds good. The A sounds in Ada and Adams are different so I think it sounds fine

SallyWD · 13/08/2023 15:21

Ida Adams? I much prefer Ida to Ada.

Duchessofspace · 13/08/2023 15:15

No it’s too much

watch the initials too - I’ve had a WCP ( surname was also Penny), WC, and a DICK recently …. Don’t call your son Douglas, Iain, Christopher … and then a surname beginning with K…..
