Just that really

Already got a DD with another “A” name alliteration pretty cool but not sure if ada adams is a bit much

I like it, it's like a superhero name

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 13/08/2023 20:35

I like it!

LadyGAgain · 13/08/2023 20:34

Love it!! She's dead cert to be a newsreader too!!

MouthShutNoseOut · 13/08/2023 20:30

So my friend gave me £30 for my birthday and her birthday is in a week? What do I get back? Seems pointless to be exchanging gifts at this point.

I'd have to have Adelaide Adams! (Calamity Jane fans will know)

I was coming on to say similar! Then she can marry a Harry 😁

DuchessOfSausage · 13/08/2023 18:56

Ada Radams

springtome · 13/08/2023 18:45

I really like it. My only reservation would be having the same initials as her sister. I have the same initial as my mum and I hated her opening my post even though she was Mrs and I was miss and even when she re-married and changed her name she apparently still got post in her firmer name and not always Mrs...

Name is lovely though

Alicia (pronounced A-liss-ee-a)

Most underrated name

shoopshoopdedoo · 13/08/2023 18:02

Not keen on Ada particularly, but especially not when it’s the first 3/5 of the surname. I quite like Ava Adam’s though!

Typz · 13/08/2023 17:57

No, it sounds like a stutter. “I’m Ada… Ada… Adams.” 😂

Get some imagination!

It is what she will think sounds good, not what you like, that matters here. And trust me she will not think Ada Adams sounds good.

RuthW · 13/08/2023 17:49

I like it

SayingwhatIreallythink · 13/08/2023 17:28

I love it

SneezyEvie · 13/08/2023 17:27

No, I think it’s too much. Ava Adams however I think works nicely.

MrsMarzetti · 13/08/2023 17:26

I like it

Hazelnut9 · 13/08/2023 17:25

I think it sounds nice actually, but it doesn’t look quite right when you see it written down.

BrownOwlknowsbest · 13/08/2023 17:17

I went to school with triplets who all had names beginning with V. They hated the fact that post always (or often anyway) came addresses to Miss V. Surname and there were fights over who it belonged to. Just a thought to bear in mind

Bilingualspingual · 13/08/2023 17:13

The glottal stop in between (in my accent) would put me off, although as a pp said, a lot of accents would add an ‘R’ in between. Otherwise I quite like it…

You can call your baby whatever you want as it's your baby. Groups like this will be full of unsolicited opinions and different tastes too.

No one likes what we just called our son but he's not their son and it's not their decision x

Ummm. They’ve been very much solicited.

I have a DS with alliteration op, and o love it but I do think Ada is just too similar to work with Adams.

I don’t have a problem with Asda Adams, but with another A sibling, it’s too much for me.

Please not Asda. Or Ada.

How about:

Ava
Ama
Ava
Alessia
Alyssa
Amelia
Amy
Ayla
Aria

Unsolicited??

DigbyTheDigger · 13/08/2023 17:04

The two a’s in the middle run together in a really clunky way.

Ohyousillydivvy · 13/08/2023 17:01

Or Adelaide Adams
Azalea Adams
Anna Adama
Arabella Adams

loveourplanet · 13/08/2023 17:01

Adelaide Adams
