For girls:
Amethyst- bit out there. Although ammie could be cool nn?
Henrietta- like, and Etta as nn
Mary- ok but dated
Annie- prefer Annabelle
Tiffany- no. Dated American.

Boys:
Christopher- love and nn kit
Timothy- no, wet and dated
Dante- quite like
Grayson- no. Will date terribly.

Tiffany, Grayson and Dante really awful.
Amethyst OK. I know one but she calls herself Amy now.
Prefer Anne to Annie.
Not keen of Henrietta.
Mary quite sweet.
Christopher and Timothy both nice.

Amethyst - sounds like a stripper name
Henrietta - love
Mary - like
Annie - awful, dull and insipid
Tiffany - ok, I like the name objectively but I think it has kind of stripper type connotations too (although the Tiffany I know is lovely, intelligent and successful)

Boys:
Christopher - love
Timothy - like
Dante - dislike
Grayson - love

I LOVE Henrietta probably because I know a really nice person with this name. There are also so many abbreviations that can be used if wished eg Hen, Hettie, Etta etc. I also like Annie, Mary and Christopher. Sorry but I find Amethyst and Tiffany particularly awful: similarly Grayson and Dante.

You could compromise and choose something like Amy (instead of Amethyst)?

Mary and Annie are nice enough.

If I had to choose one from your boys' list I'd go with Christopher but I don't really think the World is ready for it to be revived yet.

Mary sounds a bit sad/serious to me, Henrietta kind of pretentious, and Tiffany a bit dated I think. Amethyst is nice enough but too out there for my taste. Maybe as a middle name, or Amethyst nicknamed Amy?
I think Dante and Grayson are very trendy sounding and will date (if they haven't already) while Timothy just sounds a bit wet to my ears!

For girls:
Amethyst - pretty in a 'I changed my name as the teenager to Amethyst' kind of way

Henrietta - lovely, also love Hetty

Mary - nice, probably die a comeback

Annie - really like it but would use a more formal name on the birth certificate

Tiffany - feels out of place with your ither choices, quite dated and american sounding

Boys:

Christopher - like when shortened to Kit
Timothy - ok, bit dated
Dante - not a fan
Grayson - not a fan

I like Mary and Annie, not the others. They're refreshingly simple and classic. Henrietta is very clunky and Tiffany has a bit of a downmarket 80s vibe. Amethyst, pretty stone, but I think it's a bit odd as a name to be honest, the sounds are a bit clunky.

Don't like any of the boys names, sorry. I know Christopher and Timothy are classic, but I just don't like them that much, not sure they are ready for a revival. Timothy seems a bit wussy. How about Christian or Thomas?

Christopher and Timothy are nice though a bit dated. Kit is a nice NN for Christopher.

Dante is nice though unusual.

Grayson is not to my taste.
