Flower names for girls

Hello! I’m new here. Currently expecting our 3rd & final baby. We have two beautiful girls already - Poppy and Bluebell, and have recently found out this baby is a girl too! So we are looking for another flower name to go with Poppy and Bluebell. I’ve always loved Rose, however it I struggle because of the association with Rose West the serial killer (silly I know because the name and the flower are beautiful but I always think of her) Lily is also gorgeous but I already know lots of Lily’s. Any suggestions?
Other option we thought of is going for a jewel name as I’m named after a jewel myself, but ideally would like a flower to go with the other two 😊💜 - Please note, my other 2 girls are already named so I really don’t need to know if you don’t like their names 😹 just looking for ideas on what to call DD3, thanks in advance 🌸🩷 x

As could Viola

RosesAndHellebores · 26/07/2023 07:24

Rosemary, Rosalind, Rosamund
I think for a November baby it needs to be a winter flower. Jasmine and Daphne could work could work.

LAVENDER YOUR OTHER 2 NAMES ARE ALSO COLOURS

Karaboo1 · 26/07/2023 03:47

Rose is a beautiful name.

One of the rare roses in the world is Rosa Juliet.

Other suggestions you might consider "Petal" as a unique and floral name. "Fleur" is French for flower and is a pretty, edgy name for a baby girl.

My grandmother's name was Vera.

Hope you are enjoying the process of picking a name...it's pretty fun to think of floral related names for a baby.

Dahlia is my favourite but Saffron,Ivy and Marigold are also beautiful.

cjas0912 · 26/07/2023 02:10

Chrysanthemum. There's a children's book by Kevin Henkes by that name. It was my oldest daughter's favorite book as a toddler.

Mommom2 · 26/07/2023 01:31

I love the name Magnolia. That would go beautifully with your other two girls' names.

MysteryBelle · 26/07/2023 00:53

My daughter has a friend and her name is Patchouli. She has an older sister Jasmine

Raebmcd · 25/07/2023 19:33

Wysteria, Lilac, phlox, or Posey?

Raebmcd · 25/07/2023 19:22

How about Ivy?

cordelia16 · 25/07/2023 17:45

As pretty as Primrose is, I think I would avoid another P name. The flower theme is matchy enough, so it seems like all of them having separate initials would be better (plus, from experience, the middle child always finds a way to feel left out ... why give her two sisters matching initials?).

I like Iris, Jasmine, Juniper, and Willow.

And I like Magnolia (cute nn potential with Nola).

Missy1007 · 25/07/2023 11:21

How about - Ivy

RosesAndHellebores · 25/07/2023 11:03

Oh no not Hyacinth (Bouquet/Bucket)

Theads · 25/07/2023 10:48

Hyacinth
Is a beautiful floral name with a beautiful meaning also.

Gentleone · 25/07/2023 10:06

Hello. Beautiful names your little one have, so peaceful. Just a thought why not say your girls name and see if what fits. For example say the names, Poppy, Bluebell and, I love Willow a beautiful soft tree that has peace written all over and mainly grows near water. When the soft leaves touch your face or you run your hand through it you feel gentle leaves against you…magic

i wish you all the best with your pregnancy and delight in choosing her name. Be safe and happy Susie🙏

Gentleone · 25/07/2023 09:54

Beautiful names especially Willow. The tree is delicate, peaceful, near the water and the soft leaves are so gentle❤️

soraash1iru · 25/07/2023 08:35

I recommend taking a look at the language of flowers, it's a language from the Victorian Era and it's truly wonderful, also something nice to make sure your daughter's name doesn't symbolise hatred or anger
