Ds who is 11 just said he’d like to name a girl a flower name (lilac is his preference) and a boy a city/place name as his is. I can only think of DS’s name and Paris and Brooklyn. I’m sure there are more though?!

@LadyMonicaBaddingham oh god, I know. It’s totally lighthearted - I just couldn’t think of many so thought I’d find
out. I’ve just been telling him them as he was up to get random 11 yo points of view! He has never mentioned kids names to me before now.

But he's 11.

When my brother was a child, he wanted triplets named Cool, Hip and Trendy!

He's now in his forties, married with children, and said children have none of those names, thank goodness.

IglesiasPiggl · 03/07/2023 21:22

I know a boy who has Endellion as his middle name. It's in Cornwall.

Sofiatheworst · 03/07/2023 21:18

I’ve known boys named Camden and Preston.

Workawayxx · 03/07/2023 21:12

A couple of mentions of DS’s name 😁 (not a mumsnet favourite 🤣 although DD’s is).

he’s particularly keen on Denver and Troy 👍
