Definitely Astrid. Not a big fan of Cynthia/Cindi and Esme is becoming really overdone.

Cynthia is ok - nice alternative could be Celia, or I also love Lydia.

Don't love Astrid.

Cindi is my least favourite, it might be better spelt Cindy, but it reminds me too much of Sindy dolls, it's like calling a kid Barbie.

My third was supposed to be a girl called Astrid. I love the name.
He turned out to be a boy.

After I’d had him and I started saying the name out loud more when talking to people about what he was going to be called if he was a girl, I actually found that I hated saying the name Astrid. I don’t like how it feels when I say it. It makes my mouth feel a little contorted.

So my advice would be to keep saying the names out loud before you commit.

I still love the name Astrid when I read it or hear it said by someone else.

Have a soft spot for Cindy too - my best friend's name - she was named after Yogi Bear's girlfriend!

If you're going to put an accent on Esme then it should be Esmée as she's a girl.

I'm over Esme and don't like the 'May' pronounciation
Cynthia is pretty ; not convinced by Cindy.
