Celia and Cecilia are my very favourites. Love them. Cecily is nice, and don’t like Sisley.

Cecilia offers the most options - Ceci, Cecil, Cecily, CHi CHi, Ceels, Lia etc

I have a friend with a daughter called Cecil, which I think I prefer to some of these version. (Pronounced See-sil.)

Personally I have always very much liked Celia which is simpler and more elegant than the alternatives.

Either Cecilia or Cecily depending on what goes best with your surname - if it’s a draw then Cecily. I also like Cecile

You haven’t given Cicely as an option, but that would be my choice, mainly because of Cicely Mary Barker, the Flower Fairies illustrator. I love her work.

I love Celia. There is a fabulous character in Middlemarch called Celia.

However, the first 2 names on the list initially made me think of the Italian city.

I've always really liked Cecily. I think people would try to shorten though and it doesn't really shorten.

I almost always prefer a variant of a name ending in 'a', but in this case, I like Cecily best. It's a sunny, cheerful sort of name.😍
