So I like the Q sound and I like the “ee” at the end.

So we have:
Queenie
Quincy
Queefie
Quiannee/Quianie

Any others?

How about Quantas or Quokka, if you have any Aussie connections? 😂

Qantas doesn't have a u in it, because it's an acronym. So I would't use that as it will always be misspelt.

HelpMeGetThrough · 19/06/2023 06:29

Queefie

Just think of the poor teacher taking the register at school!!!

Dustyblue · 19/06/2023 05:16

Queenie is a nickname.

Quianie sounds like a psychoactive drug. Oh no, that's Quetiapine. Cute hey?

The actress who played Annie in the 2014 film is called Quvenzhané Wallace. Pronounced Kwah-ven-zsa-ney.

I don't want to google it but I'm pretty sure Queefie isn't a name you'd want to give a child.

Thanks for this. I needed a laugh!! 🤣

JeandeServiette · 19/06/2023 02:35

Not at all sure how Queefie would accidentally get on to a baby name's list so expect it's a wind up thread and there is no baby anyway. 🤷‍♀️

JeandeServiette · 19/06/2023 02:34

Queenie was traditionally a nickname for people who shared a name with the Queen of the day.

So you could have Camilla nn Queenie.

I like the letter Q as well. Yes go with Queenie is nice.
Some of the suggestions on here were just people being silly, I hope.

ThoseClementineShoes · 19/06/2023 01:39

I knew a Quinette once.

My first thought was Bridie before I opened the thread.

MirandaBlu · 19/06/2023 01:20

My sarf London nanny was Winifred, but never nn to Queenie. In fact, my dad referred to her as Mrs W[rest of name]. If you were in the best of books you called her Winifred. It was rare to be in the best of books.

ThatFraggle · 18/06/2023 22:37

Barbie222 · 18/06/2023 13:48

Queenie was a short form for Winifred in our family, but I'm going back 100 years - was a popular Edwardian name. I guess it was a mouthful to say as a child, and the nickname stuck.

How do you get Queenie from Winifred?

kingking · 18/06/2023 22:36

Queefie- OMG I'm dying!!! Hahaha sorry OP

Just go with Queenie if you like it,

TheTrunkinator · 18/06/2023 22:34

ThePersistenceOfMammories · 18/06/2023 13:50

I love Queenie, reminds me of my old next door neighbour when I was growing up.

I really like Keeley/Keiley from PPs list too.

Did you grow up in South London PP?

I was anticipating the Irish cohort arriving. Unlike the Spanish Inquisition, aways expect them.

We cannot be arsed dealing with people asking if fanny fart is a good name for a child.

Snugglemonkey · 18/06/2023 21:56

quietnightmare · 18/06/2023 13:55

Queenilynn
Queenlia
Quinny
Quinnee
Queenola
Queena
Queeno
Queenay

These are all almost, though only almost as silly as queefie!

amispeakingintongues · 18/06/2023 21:56

Go back to the drawing board, OP

O M G. I’m being deadly serious when I say that I hadn’t a clue what Queefie meant. Definitely not calling her that!!! I think I’ll stick with Queenie like I wanted

Queefie Spliffy

This is why it's so important to pick an actual name and not a random sound that you've heard/made up!

BeginningToLookALotLike · 18/06/2023 20:59

I had a great-aunt called Queenie. Among her sisters and cousins were Rosie, Renee and Sadie.

I don't think you should use any others of those names that you have come up with, OP.
