Do you prefer Bella or Freya? Or neither!? 👀

I prefer Freya because it is not a nick name.

1.Clara. Lovely
.Flora. Pretty, slightly more unusual. ignore the margarine reference, it's a Roman goddess!
3.Freya. Nothing wrong with that. I think it's a Norse goddess.

4.Bella. It sounds fine, I am just not fond of it. One reason is the meaning 'beautiful', :which is hard for a girl to live up to. (Although I'm sure your daughter would be). Same applies to Belle.

I like Isabella, Arabella and Annabel(la) though, could pick one of these and just have Bella as the nickname? And equally when she's older she could choose to become Izzie, Ari or Anna.

I liked Flora and Clara too. In the end I couldn’t go with Flora because of the marg association! I like Freya but I love Clara! Quick pole from my DD’s school, at least 3 Freyas and only 2 Claras - but the 2 Claras are in the same year! I think marginally Clara is less popular and that would edge it for me too.

We're naming our dog Freya, we prefer that over Bella
