Out of the three which would be your pick and why?

DS was going to be Erin if he was a girl, so that's my choice. I really like Sadie as well though.

Willmafrockfit · 11/06/2023 08:12

sexy sadie
i like all 3
but nina the best
followed by sadie

StellaOlivetti · 11/06/2023 08:07

Nina, without a doubt for me. Much nicer than the other two in my opinion.

2Much2Ask · 11/06/2023 08:06

Nina. It's pretty and timeless.

DidyouNO · 11/06/2023 08:04

The part of the UK I live in Erin is very common and I'm not keen at all for that reason. Nina is lovely.

wagasallday · 11/06/2023 08:00

Also like Lucy, but not sure if this one is bland compared to others.

Erin. Pretty name and feels ethereal to me.
Sadie sounds like a proper spiteful madam and Nina is emergency services siren!

Lots have said this about Nina, never even thought. It might not be a good pick then since that is what DH does hahaha

I love all three @wagasallday , all of them on my girls list along with Zoe and Stella.

As it happens, we're having a boy but your tastes sound incredibly similar.

Does anyone want to share their boy names if they loved these like the OP?

For a boy the names we’ve always liked are possibly a bit more traditional. We like George as a first choice, but also Aidan, Tobias, Rory, Alec.

I like Erin and Nina. Both simple, pretty names. Erin is my favourite.

mintich · 11/06/2023 07:32

Erin, then Sadie. Not keen on Nina, although that's more to do with people I've known with that name!

Bagofweasels · 11/06/2023 07:30

I love all 3, that’s not v helpful is it!!
would probably choose Sadie but only because I know one and she’s lovely 😊

Erin

RoseBucket · 10/06/2023 23:48

I’ve not heard the name Sadie before, it sounds cool, in an arty, Indie Rock kind of way.

The only Sadies I know are Jewish. It's a beautiful name. I'd go for Nina unless you're Jewish.

Whilst I am aware that certain names are sacred within the religion eg Cohen, I don’t believe Sarah or Sadie as one of it’s diminutives are?

Why would someone need to be Jewish to use the name Sadie?

SemperIdem · 10/06/2023 23:43

They’re all nice names.

I prefer Nina, of the 3. It’s sleek and elegant.

I know a Sadie and she fits the name, she’s vivacious and full of character.

Erin is a sweet name, I can’t imagine anything other than a happy person.

I'm biased as i have a 7 year old Sadie! Still absolutely love the name!🥰 and the meaning, "princess". She's the only one at her primary school called Sadie which I like as it's not a common name.

Aww that’s lovely didn’t know the meaning. You certainly don’t hear many! Xx

I love the name Erin! Nina is lovely too.

RuthW · 10/06/2023 23:13

Sadie. It's nicer my miles

YukoandHiro · 10/06/2023 22:50

Erin or Nina

TheMurderousGoose · 10/06/2023 22:50

As an Irish person I find Erin and its rise a bit naff.

I quite like Sadie. Even if she is a chain smoking brawler as described by a pp Grin

Nina is also a good name. It sounds lively and works well internationally.

xXiXx · 10/06/2023 22:47

Nina is lovely but so like Niña, I don't think it is quite strong enough. "Girl"

It is pretty though.

Nina. Unless there is an Irish connection.

There is, albeit tenuously
