What do you think?

I’m glad you’ve seen reason OP - please do check any other names! FWIW I think ‘made up’ names (especially after places you’ve been to) come across as very pretentious. Names inspired by - like Lana are lovely though!

@SabrinaThwaite Stop it 😅😅😅

It's as bad as another thread that I've seen the other day here where the woman named her daughter "meia" which literally means either "sock" or "half" In Portuguese 😬😬😬

If I’d had twins I’d have been mightily tempted with calling them Sem Chumbo and Com Chumbo.

This sums it up.

I'm not going to do it! I'll have to come up with some others for you to check for me!

Do check OP, baby brain has kicked in big time 😂

Rule number one, nothing with tit in it.

"Just call the child alan and have done with it."

Or go with Atitlan and explain that the tit is silent.

😂😂😂

CabbageKale · 04/06/2023 22:25

Do you have a middle name in mind?

Daisybuttercup12345 · 04/06/2023 22:24

A Tit Ian.
Absolutely terrible. You do know a title is a boob/breast.
The child has to live with it. Would you like to be teased or bullied for your name?

determinedtomakethiswork · 04/06/2023 22:20

Oh I've been there! It's absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't use it as a girl's name though.

No GrinGrinGrin

Atilia maybe? Similar sound but no tits…

Makes me think of Atilla the hun

First answer nails it!

GoodVibesHere · 04/06/2023 22:05

I prefer Abumbum

LuluBlakey1 · 04/06/2023 22:03

A tit lan . You are surely not serious!

Wheezing 😂

Larner · 04/06/2023 22:00

Couldn't you just call her Alan?

Avoids the tit issue, at least. You could always call her Atitlan at home, as a sort of special family name.

hope it all goes well for you OP.

Go Shakespearean - Titania has a certain ring to it

Glad you’ve seen sense on the tit issue. Please give your child a human name though instead of repurposing a geographical or topographical landmark. I work with kids, the ones with kooky names get bullied.

Tit within a name is a no.

Unicorn2022 · 04/06/2023 21:46

Not sure why I quoted that post, sorry

I love the lake too (although I think I recall a rather tragic landslide happening not long after I visited). How about Lana or Alana as a nod to the lake? Or there is the town/ village of Santa Clara la Laguna looking out over the lake, so you could use Clara.

Glad you have seen sense OP. How about Fanny instead?
