Struggling for boys names

Wifey4Lifey · 31/05/2023 00:44

Currently 37+3 with a little boy
This will be my 4th boy!!
We already have Louis, Luca and Ralph.
We want to go for another R name to fit with the trend, any suggestions are welcome but ‘unique/classic’ names are my all time favourite.
(middle names welcomed too as that is something else er struggle with!)

Thanks for all the help mummies ❤️

Congrats Mama! My favorite R names have been suggested, Roman, Ryan and Ren! Only new Rs I can think of are Russell and Ryker.

But some other themes I see are a one syllable names -

Louis, Luca and Ralph and Grant
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Troy

Louis, Luca and Ralph and Neil
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Wells (can also be short for Rockwell for theme)
Louis, Luca and Ralph and George
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Clark
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Ford
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Jay
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Pierce
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Blaine
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Lance

and not really thinking on theme but I feel fit well -

Louis, Luca and Ralph and Marcus
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Peter
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Will (William)
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Patrick
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Harvey
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Conrad
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Archie/Archer
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Monty (Montgomery)
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Perry
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Brandon
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Cyrus
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Cedric nn Ric
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Denny (Alden/Dennis)
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Darren nn Ren
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Aaron
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Nicholas
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Eric
Louis, Luca and Ralph and Malcolm

Since your sons' second vowels are -o, -u, and -a, I think it would be nice to have this baby's second letter be an -e, -i or -y (or -h).

@greyhairnomore , no need for you to know unless you have an interest in Welsh. My pedantry is probablyy similar to a Swedish person saying that Åsa doesn't start with A

😊

greyhairnomore · 01/06/2023 12:37

@KirstenBlest ok, didn't know that.

KirstenBlest · 01/06/2023 12:05

@LulooLemon , I think so too. I really like the name but I know lots of them.
I don't like it said 'Rees'

LulooLemon · 01/06/2023 11:56

The proper Welsh pronunciation is lovely.

KirstenBlest · 01/06/2023 11:46

@greyhairnomore , not Rees/Reece. Rh is like R+H said at the same time, the Y doesn't have an equivalent sound but is sort of like ee but with your tongue in a horseshoe shape, the S is like the C in Reece. It's an extremely popular name in Wales, and I only hear this pronunciation.

@LulooLemon , it's a Welsh name and RH is a letter in Welsh, not an R followed by a H

How to pronounce Rhys (Welsh)

How to pronounce the name Rhys (welsh version)...if you have a terrible cold.

Is your Ralph pronounced 'Rafe'. If so I would go with a different vowel sound. Rueben, Rupert, Rufus, Remi. I also like Rhett (but he would have to be gorgeous !)

It’s pronounced just like Ralf so I think anything would work to be honest, I just can’t find a name that both me and my husband love!!
