I like both, but love Alexander. It’s classic and has so many nickname options

Alexander! So many ways for him to change it about if he wants a shorter version when he's older (Sandy, Xander, Ally, Alex, Alec, Al, Lex etc....)
Julian just isn't a nice name.

Alexander, not keen on Julian for some reason (all the Julian's I know not necessarily my fave people!).

Alexander, I have have a cousin called Julian and I’ve always hated the name even my cousin is lovely.

Julian is not a name I like but made worse by working for one who is an absolute prick. Sorry. Alexander is a nice name with a few different ways to shorten
